Dr. Osman Ali (Class of 2016) was recently invited to the 6th Annual Rwanda Endoscopy Week in collaboration with Harvard Medical School, University of Maryland School of Medicine, Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine and the University of Rwanda. Together, the team performed 1069 minimally invasive surgical endoscopy procedures in just 4.5 days! Their mission was not only to train Rwandan physicians and nurses but also to enhance the gastrointestinal health of the Rwandan people.
