Dr. Vasagar is currently Founding Associate Program Director Interim Medical Director of Tidelands Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Family Medicine Residency Program in Murrells Inlet, SC. She is also an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine and an Attending Physician at MUSC in Charleston, SC. “I am thankful to AUA for helping me become the type of physician who wants to improve not just health, but health care.”
It was never a question about diversity at AUA because I went there and I remember seeing all different types of cultures, all different types of languages, and people from India, people from the United States, people from Canada, and there was really no distinction.
AUA makes a big investment in their students and campus and provides a fantastic learning experience.
The small class sizes and the professors, who were always available to help us, really had us ready to take Step 1 and really prepared us for our clinicals in our third and fourth year.
