Dr. Matthew Simpson, MD is a physician, medical educator, and the founder and CEO of Top MD LLC, an award-winning academic support company dedicated to empowering medical students and recent graduates, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds. Dr. Simpson completed his internal medicine residency and is currently a Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellow at Morehouse School of Medicine. Through his work with Top MD LLC, he has mentored and tutored hundreds of students nationwide, helping them excel on USMLE exams, match into competitive residencies, and succeed in their medical careers. In addition to his educational work, Dr. Simpson is passionate about leadership, community outreach, and promoting diversity and inclusion in healthcare earning the 40 under 40 Top Physicians award, along with the 2025 young physician, and 2024 resident of the year award.

Dr. Elsherif, MD, one of our first graduates in 2009 is now working as a physician in family medicine at the Franciscan Physician Network St. John Health Center.
Dr. Elsherif, MD, is board certified in family medicine and received her training at American University of Antigua Medical School in Antigua. She did her residency in family medicine at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in Bronx, New York.

Dr. Ali Kimyaghalam is a Vascular Surgeon currently affiliated with Trumbull Memorial Hospital, Weatherby Health Care, and CHG Locum Health Care. He also holds a position as a Critical Care Physician at Maimonides Midwood Hospital and was formerly a Vascular Fellow Physician at Northwell Hospital. Dr. Kimyaghalam is involved with VSTATPEARLS Vascular Surgery as an Editor in Chief, and is a Chair of the ACGME Competency General Surgery committee.

Dr. Salman Khan is currently a Pulmonary and Critical Care Attending Physician at St. Luke’s University Health Network. He also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor (Adjunct) in the Department of General Internal Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Arshia Madni is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Tennessee. She is also the Program Director for the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship, the Director for the Center for Bioethics and Health Equity at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN, and the Chair of the DEI Committee at the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
